Ssg Course Fee Funding

SSG Course Fee Funding is a scheme initiated by Skills Development Singapore (SSG) to assist Singaporeans in financing their education and training costs. Eligible individuals who have been accepted into an SSG-funded SkillsFuture Course can enjoy course fee subsidies to help them finance their training expenses and benefit from enhanced career prospects. Under this scheme, SSG Course Fee Funding provide subsidies in the form of SkillsFuture Credit top-ups and upfront course fee subsidies, depending on the funding tier. Individuals may be entitled to up to 95% of course fee subsidies, capped at different amounts depending on the tier of funding. Eligible individuals can also receive additional course fee subsidies on top of the SkillsFuture Credit payout, to further reduce the cost of the course fees. Eligibility requirements for subsidy funding under this scheme include: • Individuals aged 25 years or above • Singapore Citizens/ Permanent Residents • Enrolled in an SSG-funded SkillsFuture Course at a publicly-funded Institution or Approved Training Organisation • From a household monthly income not exceeding $2,250 • Not a full-time student To be eligible for course fee funding, individuals need to submit their SkillsFuture Course Application along with the relevant supporting documents. Applications must be made at least 4 weeks prior to the course commencement date in order to have adequate time for processing and grant approvals.
