Rmit Course Structure
The RMIT course structure offers a range of courses ranging from undergraduate courses to postgraduate courses. With courses from disciplines such as business, engineering and health sciences, RMIT give students a number of options to pursue their dream career. At an undergraduate level, there are three different types of course structure for degrees: a Bachelor Degree, Associate Degree and a Diploma course. RMIT's Bachelor Degree involves a three-year program of study with subjects ranging from business, communication and information systems, engineering, health sciences, hospitality, and many more. Associate Degrees involve a two-year program of study leading to a Diploma and involve a more course specific approach focusing on either one major or two minors. At a postgraduate level, there are Masters, Graduate Diplomas and Graduate Certificates. RMIT offer a range of postgraduate course structures encompassing both research and non-research programs. For research programs, RMIT offers a range of research-based Masters not just in its own faculty, but also in collaboration with other institutions or disciplines. For non-research postgraduate study, the Graduate Diploma and Graduate Certificate involve a one-year program providing a range of skill-based or professional qualifications. In addition to the course structure outlined above, RMIT also provides a number of short (or non-award) courses. Aimed at individuals wanting to learn in a specific topic, these courses provide a way for professionals to update their skills. Overall, RMIT utilises a range of course structures from undergraduate to postgraduate that are flexible and tailored to the needs of the student depending on their experience and desired career path.
