Precipitinas Aspergillus Courses
Precipitin tests are a type of immunoassay that can detect specific antigen-antibody reactions. They are used to diagnose a variety of diseases, including aspergillosis, which is caused by an infection with the fungus Aspergillus. Precipitin tests specifically measure the amount of IgG antibodies produced in response to this fungus, allowing a medical professional to accurately diagnose an aspergillus infection. To perform a precipitin test, a sample of the patient's serum or sputum is mixed with an antigen preparation of Aspergillus, and the mixture is incubated at a specific temperature.
