Raglan Golf Course Settlement
Raglan Golf Course Settlement is a small residential community located in the city of Wilmington, Delaware. The neighborhood was established in 1948 as a result of a legal settlement between the city of Wilmington and the neighboring raglan golf course. The settlement provided the residents with access to the golf course and recreational facilities, as well as the ability to purchase affordable housing. Raglan Golf Course Settlement covers an area of approximately 3 acres, with homes ranging from one to three stories. All of the homes have a view of the golf course, and many have an extra large backyard. The majority of the homes were built in the 1950s and have been well preserved over time. The homes in Raglan Golf Course Settlement are surrounded by a variety of amenities including two schools, a library, two churches, several parks, two restaurants, and a convenience store. Residents also have easy access to Delcastle Recreation Area, which offers a wide range of outdoor activities, including tennis courts and fishing. The neighborhood also has its own park, which also offers a playground, basketball courts, and a softball field. Raglan Golf Course Settlement is a charming and peaceful residential community within the city of Wilmington. With its close proximity to the golf course and recreational amenities, the neighborhood provides the perfect mix of suburban living and access to the city.
