Pease Golf Course seeks well-rounded, passionate and customer service-oriented individuals to join our knowledgeable, hard-working staff. This historic course offers golfers a variety of challenges and conditions that change dramatically with the seasons, making it a unique and desirable golf experience. The Grounds Crew is responsible for maintaining the golf course turf and landscaping, monitoring course conditions throughout the season and assisting golfers when needed. This position requires extensive knowledge of the course layout, the best strategies for playing, and the ability to identify and remediate potential hazards on the course. The team consists of a Turf Manager and technicians who handle mowing and tractors, landscaping and repair. In the Pro Shop, golfers are welcomed and sales associates handle any merchandise needs. An easy-going atmosphere and understanding of the game of golf is a must for this position. Pro Shop Attendants and a Head Pro Shop Attendant receive detailed training in the vast array of fine apparel, equipment and courses available. Other opportunities at the course include Food & Beverage and Event Staff. Event Staff coordinate large special events such as corporate tournaments or banquets, oversee registration processes, and act as a point of contact for amenities. Associates in the Food & Beverage division must be available in both indoor and outdoor settings to provide food and drinks to golfers, guests and events attendees.
