ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-II

ANSYS Workbench Tutorials Part-II

This course is the second part of the lecture series on ANSYS Workbench software. It takes you through various modules of ANSYS Workbench like Heat Transfer(Steady-State Thermal), Fatigue analysis, Eigenvalue Buckling analysis, Modal and Harmonic Response Analysis. Various numerical are solved to explain various concepts and features of the software and for practice so that expertise can be gained in handling the software.

We start with Heat Transfer analysis of plane and composite rectangular walls that are subjected to convection and radiation effect.

Second section deals with Fatigue Analysis. Various numericals are solved like plate with a hole, a simple shaft, stepped bar, connecting rod, SAE Hub, spatula, key and ball bearing. Each analysis is explained in detail.

Third section is all about the Eigenvalue Buckling problem. Various real life problems are analyzed to gain in-depth knowledge of the topic like rectangular column, rectangular hollow column, hollow pipe, I beam, helical springs, chair and table.

Lastly we study about the Modal and Harmonic Response Analysis module which deals with problems on helical compression spring, fixed-fixed beam, shaft subjected to torsion and analysis of buildings of different heights subjected to wind loads.

Introduction version of this course is available in the first part of this series ANSYS Workbench Tutorials. Join that course to learn the basic concepts of these modules and more.
