Wsu Pesticide Recertification Courses

Washington State University (WSU) offers a variety of pesticide recertification courses so that employees can keep their certifications up to date. These courses include topics such as safety and hazard recognition, pest identification, pesticide application methods, and recordkeeping for certified applicators. Users must complete the courses in order to become certified and receive credit for the courses. Once a person has completed the courses for their certification, they can renew their certification by taking additional courses in the area. The courses provided by WSU are designed to help applicators, applicator assistants, and other related personnel safely and effectively use, apply, and store pesticides. WSU ensures that the courses address current pest control technology and current laws, regulations, and best practices. To begin the process of becoming recertified, a person must log into the WSU website and fill out the form. They must also provide the necessary documents and payment information. Once the form is complete, the person will receive a confirmation email. Once the person has received their confirmation, they can start taking the courses. They must choose courses that meet their recertification needs, based on their previous pesticide use, and any new laws that may have gone into effect since they last took a course. Once the courses are complete, the person must submit their test results to WSU. A grade report will then be sent to the person, certifying that they have successfully completed the required recertification courses.
