What Is Co Requisite Courses
Co-requisite courses refer to subjects that are typically taken in tandem with one another, usually in the same semester or quarter. For example, a biology major might take a lecture course in genetics and a lab course in molecular genetics in the same semester, but with each course having a different instructor. Co-requisite courses are designed to give students a more holistic understanding of a particular subject or concept, while also developing and nurturing their knowledge and competency in the field. They are usually identified as courses that need to be taken together and during the same term of enrollment.
