Revolt Course De Cote

Revolt Course de Cote is an off-road rally racing event held annually on roads throughout France. It is organized by the French automobile club, the Fédération Française du Sport Automobile (FFSA). The event has been held annually since 1978 and the courses are a mix of both asphalt and dirt roads. A team of five drivers pilot two cars down difficult and twisty terrain, with one car leading the other. Each course is timed, and the first car across the line wins that stage. The overall winner is the team with the lowest total time. The Revolt Course de Cote is also a part of an International World Rally Championship (WRC) series event. The regulations are slightly different than those governing events like the World Rally Championship. Teams competing in the Revolt Course de Cote will have only three hours to complete the course, compared to the 24-hour time limit of the WRC. The route of the Revolt Course de Cote takes competitors through some of the most beautiful and varied landscapes of France. A typical course will include winding mountain roads, dense forests, deep valleys and wide open plains. The teams must tackle challenging terrain and negotiate tricky corners and hairpin drops. If you are looking for the ultimate in off-road rallying then the Revolt Course de Cote is for you. It is a great way to experience some of the best off-road terrain in Europe with the added challenge of facing skilled competitors.
