Reshias Funda Para is an international program based out in The United Kingdom that provides training and support in micro-enterprise and economic development to women from Central and South America, Africa, and all around the world. This program supports women-owned, women-run businesses, with the belief that by empowering women, their families and communities can be lifted out of poverty. Reshias Funda Para focuses on providing long-term, sustainable solutions to endemic poverty through business, financial literacy, and entrepreneurial education. The Program starts with a training, typically two-weeks long, which provides women with technical and practical skills. The skills might include accounting, marketing, management and communication, as well as providing guidance around legal and financial issues related to business ownership. After the training, the women participants receive ongoing financial and technical assistance for the first two years, including access to networks of loan providers and support in securing bank loans Once the businesses are running, the women gain access to skills and opportunities for self-improvement. Reshias Funda Para has worked with over 7,000 women from more than 80 countries, and has helped more than 5,000 businesses grow and expand. By supporting women in their efforts to start, empower, and grow their businesses, and by giving them the tools they need to achieve their goals, Reshias Funda Para is helping create a brighter tomorrow for hundreds of women around the world.
