Rentgenas, also known as X-rays, is a form of electromagnetic radiation. It is used in medicine to create images of the inside of the body to identify fractures, tumors, and other conditions as well as in imaging technologies such as airport security and industrial engineering. The term “rentgenas” may refer to either the physical X-ray machine, or to the radiation results from the machine. In English, the term X-ray is usually used for both the equipment and the resulting images.
