Rapr Course Bc


RAPR Course BC stands for Reality and Attitude Preparatory Readiness and is an educational program run by the BC government. It is designed to help rebuild the foundation for successful reintegration for those recently released from prison or have had charges withdrawn. It covers a range of topics such as life skills, financial literacy, and job search strategies. The curriculum was developed in partnership with the BC Corrections Centre, the RCMP and the Correctional Service of Canada. RAPR Course BC offers several levels of support and assistance to individuals, including providing forums and activities to help increase self-esteem, resiliency and relationships. It also focuses on building supportive community networks, while also providing educational materials, such as employment and housing resources. Participants are also provided resources on substance use and community safety, as well as support and information on returning to work and educations. The program also offers a trauma-informed approach during assisting participants develop a plan to help them address their issues and continuing to progress toward their goals. In addition, each participant is given case management to provide the necessary support throughout the program. RAPR Course BC is an important program that has helped many individuals transition successfully back into society after a period of involvement in the criminal justice system. This program focuses on providing participants with the skills and resources they need to help them become successful and provide hope for better prospects in the future.
