Raaf Courses

RAAF courses are courses offered by the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF). These courses provide training and skills that enable members of the Air Force to remain at the top of their professional capabilities. The RAAF offers a range of courses in various fields, including: leadership, aeronautics, operations and management, civil engineering, administration, communication and security. These courses ensure that RAAF personnel remain knowledgeable about the latest technologies and practices for the latest aircraft and equipment, as well as assisting in the execution of peacetime and wartime operations. The courses offered vary in length and span from one week up to six months. Depending on the course, the training is either conducted on-base or from an outside training provider, such as a university. Many of these courses also include a practical element, with visits to operational locations or live flying exercises. RAAF courses help ensure that Air Force members understand and can perform to the best of their ability in their respective roles. They also provide an opportunity for personnel to develop their knowledge and increase their value to the Air Force.
