Probation classes, or court-mandated classes, are educational courses taken by those on probation to complete certain requirements set by the court system or their probation officers. There are usually between 10-15 one-hour classes, and participants are expected to attend every class, take quizzes, and complete all homework assignments. Completion of court-mandated classes is a requirement for those on probation and failure to complete these classes can lead to parole violations and other legal ramifications. However, those who successfully complete probation classes and fulfill their probation conditions can often have their charges reduced or even dropped.
