Polsci Course

Political Science is an exciting field of study that looks at the structures and processes that shape public life. It covers a wide range of topics including political philosophy, international relations, comparative politics, public administration, political economy, and public policy. The study of Political Science offers students the opportunity to gain critical insight into the development and functioning of governmental systems, as well as an understanding of the broader political context in which systems and institutions operate. Students enrolled in a Political Science course are exposed to a variety of topics such as public opinion, the mass media, voting behavior, campaign management, and legislation. They explore the theories and concepts of political behavior, decision-making, and the role of interest groups. Courses in Political Science also cover the need for efficient public and private sector organizations and how to achieve accountability and transparency. In addition, course topics may include analyzing international relations and the politics of major industrial and developing countries, as well as examining the connections between social and political theories, economic policies, and government structures. Finally, students may further explore the impact of new technologies on the field of Political Science, looking at issues such as democracy promotion, foreign policy, and global governance.
