Pols Courses
A Pols course is a college course that focuses primarily on political science, which is the study of politics and governance in global societies. These courses broadly cover a range of topics, including comparative politics, public policy, political philosophy, international relations, law, political economy and more. They provide students with an overview of different theories and approaches to understanding the political world. In addition, Pols courses also provide an opportunity to explore the underlying tensions, conflicts, and debates that shape our global order. Pols courses are designed to help students develop specialised knowledge and understanding of politics and governance. The objectives of a Pols course vary, depending on the level and type of course taken, and can range from exploring the causes and effects of global problems to examining the relationship between citizens and the state. To excel in a Pols course, it is important to have strong analytical and research skills, as well as the capacity to engage critically with the topics being discussed. Additionally, as political issues and debates are constantly evolving, it is also important to stay up-to-date on current affairs and make sure to keep revisiting course topics. By engaging actively with each subject, students are able to gain a far deeper understanding of the complexities of the political world.
