Pandurashtaka Sanskrit is an ancient language of Sanskrit which is believed to be perhaps the oldest form of Sanskrit in existence. It is referred to as the "language of the Pandurashtaka Kingdom," which was a powerful trading and administrative Kingdom in ancient India during the Mauryan period and ruled by the King Candragupta Maurya. Pandurashtaka Sanskrit is also known as Prakrit or Pali language. It was used as the official language of administration, commerce and commerce during the rule of the Pandurashtaka Kingdom and was believed to have originated in the same parts of India where the kingdom was based.
