Palpatine Comes Back Courses

Palpatine, originally known as Darth Sidious, is one of the most iconic characters in the Star Wars franchise. After originally appearing in the prequel trilogy and serving as the main antagonist of the series, Palpatine was presumed dead after being thrown down a shaft in Darth Vader's hands during the Battle of Endor in Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. Recent announcements have revealed that Palpatine will in fact be making a return in upcoming Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker movie. Little is known about the details regarding Palpatine's return and how he will fit into the new trilogy of films. Some believe that Palpatine's return may have a direct connection to the mysterious SithLord Snoke. In the trailers released thus far, Palpatine's voice has been heard declaring that "the dark side of the force is the only path". This has led to speculations that his return may involve some kind of dark force cult, or a continuation of his sinister plot from the prequel trilogy. What is certain is that Palpatine's return will be sure to shake up the Star Wars saga even further, providing more danger and conflict for the Resistance and its allies. As the franchise draws to a close with the final film of the Skywalker saga, it will be interesting to see what twists and turns Palpatine's return will bring.
