The Palmetto High Scores Football Team has a long and impressive history of excellence. Founded in the mid-1900s, the team first earned statewide recognition after winning the state championship in 1964. Since then, the team has won a total of nine state championships, ten region championships, two conference championships, and four different rankings within the national rankings. The Palmetto High Scores Football program is focused on developing student-athletes to reach their fullest potential on and off the field. With experienced coaches and a stellar tradition of excellence, Palmetto High has worked to create a winning atmosphere with an emphasis on integrity and respect amongst the team members. With successful coaching staff and strong players, Palmetto High Basketball is committed to providing a quality, competitive program.
