Oticon Cros Courses

Oticon CROS is a type of hearing aid designed to help people with single-sided deafness. It consists of two individually programmed hearing aid devices, usually worn as a behind-the-ear model on the side of the better-hearing ear and as a small, miniature in-the-ear device on the poorer-hearing side. An Oticon CROS system works by using the hearing aid on the good ear to pick up sounds from the poorer-hearing side. The sound signals are then sent wirelessly to the hearing aid on the other side. The microphone on the better-hearing side also captures sound which is sent to both devices for amplified sound on both sides.
