Osha Resources Courses

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) provides a variety of resources to employers, workers and safety professionals. These resources include regulations, guidelines, safety and health topics, training and education opportunities, and an online library of compliance assistance materials, among other types of information. The regulations set forth by OSHA provide employers with legal obligations to ensure the health and safety of employees in the workplace. OSHA offers training materials, educational courses, and workshops on various workplace safety topics to help employers, workers and safety professionals meet these standards. In addition, OSHA provides compliance assistance by offering a comprehensive library of materials and resources. This library provides helpful articles, fact sheets, and safety guidance to employers on safety topics such as hazard communication, ergonomics, fall protection, and machine guarding. OSHA also offers resources to assist employers with compliance activities. These activities include the development of safety and health programs, hazard evaluation and prevention, technical assistance, and compliance oversight. Toolbox talks, a series of brief pre-written safety topics, are also available and can be used by employers to address new and existing safety issues. Finally, OSHA provides an extensive collection of enforcement, outreach and educational activities that are available to employers, workers, safety professionals and others. These activities include conducting safety and health inspections, providing safety and health consultations, offering workshops and training, and issuing citations and penalties for noncompliance. Overall, OSHA provides employers, workers, and safety professionals with a plethora of resources to help protect the health and safety of employees in the workplace. Whether you are looking for guidance on a specific workplace safety topic, need to develop an effective safety and health program or understand the legal obligations set forth by OSHA, the organization’s resources can help you meet your safety and health goals.
