Omokasa Courses

Omokasa is a traditional Japanese card game that dates back to the Edo period. It is a two-player game and is similar to the western game of Go Fish. The object of the game is to collect sets of four cards with the same symbol on them. These sets are called "omokasa" and when one player has collected four sets, they win the game. The game is played using a standard deck of playing cards. Each card has a different symbol and the game is played by trading cards with the other player. When either player has four cards with the same symbol, they announce this and place the four cards in front of them face up on the table. At this point, the other player must either match the set (by having four cards of the same symbol) or take a set from the table. If they take a set, they must give one of their cards in exchange. If they do not have a matching set, they must draw another card from the deck. The game continues until one player has collected four sets of the same symbol or both players run out of cards in the deck. If both players run out of cards, then the player with the most sets wins. Omokasa is a great game for two players and an excellent way to pass the time. It is easy to learn and can be played in any situation.
