Omertas FNV is a mod for Fallout: New Vegas that seeks to improve upon the core game in dozens of different ways. The mod introduces a wide variety of new content, including weapons, armor, NPCs, new areas, enhancements to the existing maps and environments, and much more. Additionally, Omertas FNV makes numerous changes to the Fallout: New Vegas core game in order to increase difficulty and challenge. One of the main features of Omertas FNV is its overhauled RPG-style combat mechanics. This includes an improved VATS system, new crit chance and damage types, improved armor penetration, and a plethora of other tweaks and changes. Additionally, Omertas FNV overhauls the enemy AI, making enemies smarter and more dangerous. Another major facet of Omertas FNV is its many visual enhancements and tweaks. This includes improved lighting, a brand new depth of field effect, improved ambient lighting, retextured models and textures, enhanced shadows, and more. The mod also introduces a large amount of new items and a wide variety of new clothing for the player character. Additionally, various new NPCs, companions, and creatures have been added to the game. Finally, Omertas FNV also contains a myriad of miscellaneous features, such as new random encounters, environmental hazards, improved bounty/reward systems, more detailed conversations, custom skill books, an improved perk list, and much more. All these features combine to create a lush and unique Fallout: New Vegas experience.
