Ibao Ribo I Course

IBAO RIBO i course is an online training program designed to teach Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario (RIBO) licensees basic insurance industry terms, principles, and procedures. This comprehensive, 20-unit course covers a broad range of topics, from insurance principles and product knowledge, to marketing, ethics, and risk management. It is recommended that experienced licensees take the course to stay up to date with current trends and legislation in the insurance industry. The program can be taken either in-person or online. For in-person study, students must attend a pre-scheduled virtual class and answer questions posed by the instructor. Online students have the option of choosing between self-study, live-online lectures with an instructor, or pre-recorded webinars. Instructions are provided to help students complete the course in the minimum amount of time. The program provides an in-depth look at the insurance industry, illustrating key concepts and illustrating the differences between various products and policies. It also provides a general overview of the insurance industry, and explores risk management, and legal and regulatory issues. The course includes a practice exam and proctored exam to approve and certify student achievements. Upon completion of the course, graduates receive a certificate from the Institute of Insurance Brokers of Ontario (IBO).
