Csula Pols Courses General Ed
California State University, Los Angeles (CSULA) offers a variety of POLS courses which satisfy the General Education requirements of its students. These courses provide students with the knowledge and understanding of politics, government, policy-making, and international affairs. Courses offered in the POLS department cover a range of topics, including political theory, international relations, public administration, and public policy. Each course includes an understanding of the roles, powers, and relationships of individuals, institutions, and organizations in their study of these topics. The POLS department also provides a range of elective courses, including topics such as American foreign policy, comparative politics, and the politics of the global economy. In addition, it offers internship experiences and faculty-mentored research projects to enable students to apply their knowledge outside of the classroom. Students pursuing a degree in CSULA’s POLS department should have the necessary background to understand U.S. and international politics, as well as the power structures that contribute to our governmental and social policies. All POLS courses satisfy the General Education requirements of the university, giving students an understanding of the world’s political and government structures.
