Social Media Specialist

Candice is no stranger to the tourism industry, or to online learning. After completing her BCom degree in Marketing and Tourism Management from the University of Pretoria, she secured a role in a UK-based agency, working under Glen Allsopp, who has been featured on Entrepreneur, Mashable, Forbes and Reuters for his knowledge of online marketing, social media and SEO. 

After becoming head of social media in the agency and working on brands like Land Rover (UK) and Metro (UK), Candice decided to open her own copywriting business, working with some of the biggest online marketing agencies in SouthAfrica. Her free time was spent convening the UCT Digital Marketing course with GetSmarter and co-writing and convening the UCT Copywriting for Online Marketing course, also through GetSmarter.
