In this course you will learn the basics of what Meditation is and why Meditation is important in our every day lives. You will learn how to incorporate meditation into you schedule and how to apply these teachings for everyday peace of mind and happiness. We will discuss the three levels of the mind and the Power of Affirmation. We will explore the importance of bringing energy to our meditations to empower our concentration.

You will learn a powerful a technique for inviting energy into our bodies by a practice called Yogoda, a philosophy, as well as a technique fairly new to the science of Yoga. You will also learn several tips for how to build a strong routine.  The methods and teachings that are taught in this course come from Paramhansa Yogananda, widely regarded as "The Father of Yoga in the West" due to the fact that when he came to America in 1920 most westerners had never heard about the Science of Yoga except in mystical and obscure terms. Yogananda made these teachings practical and easily understandable, giving thousands of lectures and hundreds of classes across the United States. By the end of this course you will be equipped with the knowledge and techniques that will enable you to start your journey of meditation.
