How to Use Articles in English
How to Use Articles in English
This course includes this following:
Natural speech from a native English speaker;
I’m a TEFL certified professional English tutor from Southern California – though I live in Romania – with my own school and nearly 5,000 hours of lessons under my belt;
Intermediate-level (or above) material;
Everyone is welcome, of course, but learners who are below intermediate level might find it difficult to understand my natural, quick speech, and use of expressions;
Downloadable high-quality (1080p) lectures with subtitles/transcripts I wrote myself;
Narrated slides with rules, explanations, examples, and exceptions;
An easy-to-understand graphical decision tree to help you decide when an article is necessary and which one to use;
A little bit of humor that (I hope) will make you giggle and keep you interested as well as informed.
The first section of the course contains an introduction to grammatical articles, including what they are and the function they serve. The second utilizes a graphical decision tree and slides with explanations and examples to illustrate the process of deciding if an article is necessary and, if so, which one to use. Finally, the last section includes additional rules that aren’t as easily definable but are equally important and useful.
Whether you have questions, concerns, suggestions, or just want to discuss the meaning of life or nature of dark energy, I’d love to hear from you so please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
