This course will help you build the fundementals to be able to trim your dogs nails from home. Dogs need their nails trimmed roughly every three to four weeks sometimes more depending on the breed of dog, how much exercise and type of exercise you provide, food quality and how much grooming they receive.

What is included

  • Training videos

  • Demonstrations and PDF files you can download

  • Processes and Training Guides

  • Equipment list needed for the course

Not all dogs like having their nails trimmed, in fact I don't believe I have met a dog who jumps out of their skin to get their nails trimmed. They more prefer the attention or treats. But being an important grooming requirement it is up to us to provide what is needed for our dogs to have a healthy and happy life.

Teaching our dogs to cope in inevitable stressful situations (I discuss this in episode one on my podcast "Canine Transformation") teaching our dogs to deal with situations that have to be done where they may object and would rather do something else. Similar to us going to the dentist or doctor. We aren't super pumped visiting them. I know I am always a bit anxious going to the dentist. How ever I benefit if I do go. I work on developing the coping methods to deal with situations like that. I believe we should teach our dogs the same kind of coping skills when dealing with situations they may not want done but will benefit them in the long run.
