Learn to Salsa - Beginners Level

Learn to Salsa - Beginners Level

Easy hacks and progressive lessons to learning Salsa on Udemy.

Salsa is the most popular Latin dance form in the world.

Though Latin American, it was born in the streets of New York City with strong influences from Hispanic and Caribbean and African communities.

As days progress new artists are infusing new choreographic flavours into the dance based on their background, traditions and culture.

Salsa moves can be very simple, lead-able and what's more important is that with a little practice and improvisation, the moves and patterns can be danced easily with any leader/follower.

The classes have been designed, to enable you with:

  • Basics dance tricks, cheat codes and some partying move for you to enjoy yourself and impress the rest!

  • Body posture & simple footwork to dance to any music

  • Hand/leg coordination to the music and dance etiquettes

  • Partner movement and coordination

  • Get a feel of the rhythm and musicality.

  • Get a hang of lead and follow with the least effort possible.

All you need is a bit of discipline and the will to dedicate 15-30 minutes tops to practise until you have mastered a move a day. Practise, practise and practise a lot more until the move becomes a habit through building muscle memory.

Have a great time and please write back to me, if you ever get stuck or need my help to get out of a situation.

Cheers and happy dancing.
