The beginners course is designed for those who have not been exposed to Kiswahili prior to joining. The courses are interactive, practical and fun! The course comes with a designed and tailored Student Handbook, with weekly home exercises and will be run using Powerpoint Presentation slides. In the sessions, we spend 15 minutes recapping the home exercises and 10 minutes break. We will also be doing practical speaking exercises. The course is designed to enable you, the learner, to begin speaking Kiswahili from the first session. Each lesson is aimed to help you become fluent by explaining the grammar rules with examples, including examples of conversations and practical speaking exercise.

Veronica, the tutor, is a native Tanzanian based in both United Kingdom and Tanzania. She founded Lugha Swahili company in 2020 and has experience tutoring students across the USA, UK and East Africa. Her passion to share her culture and understanding of linguistics has helped students achieve their goals.
