Making Memes - Everything You Need To Know

This course teaches you to create simple memes using some meme-making websites and templates. It also teaches you to create them from scratch using a photo editor like MS Paint. Lastly, this course provides some suggestions for protecting yourself from potential backlash from people that may be offended by whatever you have created.

I start by teaching you exactly what a meme is. We go over the actual definition and then I explain what it means in plain English.

Next, we discuss some of the more popular memes and how they 'flow'.

I use a popular meme to teach you to use a popular meme-making website called "imgflip" and I walk you through all of the tools that the site has to offer. You can rotate the image, add your own original text, change the color of the text and the size of the text and use many other tools

The third video is a challenge for you to practice by creating at least 3 new memes based on what you have learned.

Next, we discuss more famous memes and then we use a website called "canva" to create an inspirational meme. This website has more tools than the first one did.

Then, I show you how to take a simple image and create a meme entirely yourself using MS Paint (you can also use any other photo editing software such as Photoshop)

Lastly, I discuss some of the pitfalls of allowing everybody to see your work and how to protect yourself from people that may be offended by what you have created.
