The fundamentals of finding a job seem easy enough -- but there are a lot of them and they've changed drastically over the past few years. You need to understand where to find the right jobs for you, ensure your resume is well written for both a recruiter and a robot to read, know the basic submission process, what to do and how to handle it when you don't hear back, the methodology and psychology behind certain questioning tactics, follow up etiquette, how to negotiate your compensation and benefits package....the list goes on and on. Learn from a team of professionals with over 20 years of recruitment experience. Our course includes over 3 and 1/2 hours of content that covers the following:

Starting the Process of Finding a New Job: Starting the process with the end goal in mind is essential. It helps you to know what types of jobs to look for and what experiences you have that will help you (or what experiences could hurt you)! Knowing how to develop and execute the right game plan will save you weeks of time and effort.

Create a Winning Resume: Applying to dozens of jobs but never hearing anything back? Beyond frustrating. The point of a resume is to get you past the visual screen and into the interview process. These days, this part is done mostly by technology - which can be a good or a bad thing! Make sure you resume isn't getting buried at the bottom of the virtual pile.

Applying To Jobs: There are hundreds of websites online that will allow you to search for and apply to jobs. Make sure you know the most efficient paths to finding the right opportunities for you, and how your application is likely being reviewed from the company's point of view.

Networking and Linkedin: Utilizing your network has never been so important. We give you all the insight, tips, tools, and recommendations on how to create, build, and leverage your network - both on and offline.

Preparing for Interviews: In order for a phone, virtual, or live interview to be successful, you need to know how to control your environment, what prep work needs to be done in advance, top questions to practice in advance, and common mistakes to avoid. We go step by step in each interview type on how to set yourself up to win any interview round.

All of the Characters: Knowing the difference between a recruiter, hiring manager, and an owner seems simple - but do you know exactly what to prepare based on who you're meeting with?Understanding who cares about what within the process, what their goals are, and how they're measured will greatly impact your ability to make a connection.

Arriving Prepared and How to Follow Up: These seem like basic fundamentals of interviewing, but you'd be surprised on how many people give off the wrong impression by getting these things wrong! Knowing common mistakes to avoid ensures you arrive prepared and give off the best first impression possible. Lastly, following up with the appropriate etiquette is without question, immensely important in you getting through to the next step.
