NLP was created over 40 years ago by Richard Bandler and John Grindler who set out to study the therapists or psychiatrists of that time including the renowned Milton Erickson. The aim was to understand the successes and methods used by those who had achieved success in their chosen fields. They wanted to know how success was achieved and to devise a way of modelling strategies so others could improve their own performances. Once created, they tested the model with their own clients and over the years, many people have turned to NLP as a way to improve lives.
