ISO 9001:2015 highlights the requirements for a quality management system when an organization needs to improve client satisfaction through the effectiveness of the system, taking into account conformity assurance given to customers and processes to be enhanced and the appropriate statutory and regulatory requirements. In addition, this standard is implemented when an organisation wants to meet customer expectations by implementing a robust and organized system which is named Quality Management System.

All the requirements of ISO 9001:2015 are generics and can be applied or implemented in any organization, no matter its size or category, or the services/ products offered.

It should be noted that this version was last reviewed and confirmed in 2021. The updates or the changes introduced correspond essentially to the determination of the context of the organization, the interested parties and their interactions and the improvement based mainly on risks and opportunities.
