FTCE Reading K-12 Workshop

FTCE Reading K-12 Workshop

This workshop will jump start your study plan. It is designed to give you test taking strategies, teach you how to prep smart, and goes over some of the skills listed under the nine competencies (major topics) of the FTCE Reading K-12 Exam. The introduction discusses the FTCE Reading K-12 test design, a computer based test, in which you are given 2 hours and 30 minutes to complete. There are four types of test questions, and specific test taking strategies that will help you eliminate at least two answer choices. We also talk about the difference between reading endorsement and reading certification, and how to prep smart.

The following lectures cover one skill under each of the nine competencies. The concise, succinct instruction covers the skill completely without any extra inconsequential information. At the end of each skill instruction are two practice test questions with detailed answer explanations.

This is the same instruction given in my live workshops. If you would like a workshop for your school or union members, please contact me through Udemy.

Teachers have also expressed a need for this instruction in paperback format, so I created a 269-page instructional study guide companion book that has the same instruction as the online course, plus a full, 120-question practice test with answer explanations, and 175 flash cards to cut out and use. This companion book is available on Amazon.
