Excel Spreadsheet Language and Programming

Excel Spreadsheet Language and Programming

Microsoft Excel introduced the LAMBDA function in December 2020. The LAMBDA function enables users to define custom functions with Excel's formula language; it officially made Excel a real programming language, which is a revolutionary step. We are thus all entering a new era of spreadsheet programming.

This course aims to be a fundamental course of spreadsheet language and programming to prepare you for the new era of spreadsheet programming. At the moment, it is the first course to present Excel from this perspective.

--- Is the course practical enough? ---

Throughout the course, we use concrete samples to demonstrate different concepts. You could immediately apply the concepts, skills, methods, principles and tools presented in the course to your work.

--- Excel version requirement ---

Most of the contents in this course apply to all the versions of Excel. You need to at least have Excel 2016 to use the add-ins presented in the course. You need to join the insider program of Microsoft Office to try the LAMBDA function.

--- Chinese version ---

A Chinese version of the course ("Excel表格风险、语言和编程")can be found in Udemy as well.
