In this course the essential aspects of music theory are taught in a systematic way to support and enhance your growth as a kirtan leader and musician.

Please Note:

Much of the video content in this MasterClass is taken from previous group trainings in order to facilitate the most authentic and natural learning experience. You will feel as if you are learning live on Zoom with Madhu.

• Anatomical keys to sustainable singing

• Harmonium anatomy

• Keys to playing harmonium

• The essentials of music theory: notes, scales, chords, etc.

• Breathing exercises to support greater sustain and comfort in singing

• Exercises to awaken and refine your ability to identify notes and learn melodies by ear

• Transposition training: learning how to take a melody in a specific key and play it in any other key to suit your voice

• Dynamics: various techniques and ornamentations to add individuality and emotion to your kirtan
