Manage Anxiety and Stress with Mindfulness & Yoga Tools

Like many others, you might feel distracted or overwhelmed with anxiety, fear or feeling stuck in your daily life. This can create problems in your relationships, work and disrupt a sense of being connected and at ease with yourself and your life!

This class will provide you with several short practices that you can use to learn how to regulate your body and emotion when you are feeling anxious, dysregulated as an aftereffect of trauma, or having a hard time calming your body down at night before sleep.

These exercises can be used on the go, before sleep, or practiced in seated meditation. It is my hope that through these practices you will also enhance your own awareness and relationship with your body, emotions and inner experience.

Everyone's emotions and nervous systems are different! Part of this course is to narrow down breathing and grounding practices that work best for your life and your body. Try these practices out slowly, integrating one or two into your life for a few days, then try another to experiment with what works best for you, and when.

Reminder that change happens slowly. Look for the small changes in your mind, emotions and your body as you practice, and enjoy the course!
