In this course you have to learn about various food items like bakers yeast, sauerkraut, sausages, etc. also learn about the history of food regulation by food and drug administration (FDA) then single cell protein (SCP).
How they can grow and which organisms are present in that food then different preservation methods of food, food poisoning, cause through which organism, food borne infected diseases. organisms like Bacteria, fungi, algae, protozoa, etc. can cause so many diseases from the food. majorly in fast food so many bacteria can survive which can damage our digestive system as well as our immune system. so many preservative techniques are there for the food major one is canning.
we consume food which have a full of protein, carbohydrates, little much fat content . In India generally people consume the staple food like wheat, jowar, rice, maize, barley, etc. which are rich to protein. Which are the healthiest food ever and that’s why Indian people have very well immunity that is proved during the covid-19 time.
so we have to eat healthy and nutritive food for our good health and long life.
