This course will teach you how to use the DJI Ronin and apply the skills to film smooth shots. This is for beginners who are getting frustrated with their motorized gimbal. This is your "go to" course to get that frustration out of the way. You will learn the following:

• how to assemble and balance the motorized gimbal

• update the firmware and operate the gimbal safely

• Activating the motorized gimbal

• Restore settings

• Body posture while operating the gimbal

• Exercises to enhance learning

The exercises will help you become familiar with the controls and get the feel of the gimbal as you apply some of your own skills and what you took away from these tutorials. Create a short video that tells a story by shooting supplemental footage (or B-roll) while using the DJI Ronin S.

This class is for students of all levels and a great refresher for more advanced users. I'll cover the technical and creative techniques that is suitable to any video project you want to create yourself.

Exercise 1: Go out and film in tight spaces so you can see more movement in your shots. Use what you learned in this course by creating your own short video, 30-60 second recommended. Edit with music and share it here. Feel free to share your work in the Q&A section.
