Learn to Teach Gymnastics Classes - Live Classes -20+ Pupils

Through live lessons showcasing a real class of 27-30 pupils, this course shows how to competently deliver gymnastics in an educational setting. Starting with a number of warm up activities, where the focus is on fundamental gymnastics shapes the course then moves on to 6 adaptable lessons with lots of accompanying resources.

Each of the lessons is taught to a different year group to show how adaptable the lessons are to deliver. The content of the course includes; warm up activities, floor skills, bench work and balancing, vaulting and jumping, pair and trio balances and circuits of activity on a variety of apparatus. The activities are broken down so that you can adapt the skills to make them easier or harder depending on the ability of the pupil.

Technical teaching points are provided for each of the gymnastics skills included in this course and then the 20+ downloadable resources give you many other activities that you could then adapt for the same lessons but using different skills. These resources include full teaching points for all of the fundamental gymnastics skills.

The course is delivered by Gemma Coles an experienced club and schools gymnastics coach with over 20 years experience.
