The Newish Parent Guide to Avoiding Unnecessary Pain
The Newish Parent Guide to Avoiding Unnecessary Pain
Hey Newish Parent! Given the fact that you have a child (or a few) I’m going to take a wild guess and say that you’ve got some aches and pains that you’ve most likely been avoiding dealing with in favor of conquering 1,000 other responsibilities before falling face-first into bed at night in utter exhaustion...fear not! Using my experience as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and a Dad of two daughters – I will be shedding some light on ways to reduce the typical stresses on the body that we all deal with while caring for our kids. Is it hard picking up your kid out of the crib, getting them into that middle carseat, or giving them a bath? You’re not alone. It turns out that caring for a squirmy 20lb kettlebell and carrying it around with you all day can be hard. I want to help prepare more parents for the physical demands of parenthood. You'll leave this course with a bunch of practical ideas and concepts that you can build into your daily life to help protect your body so you can keep kicking butt, because let's face it, as modern parents, we don't have time for injuries.
Helping build resilience and prevent the common injuries associated with caring for our adorable growing kettlebells.
