Calgary Pal Course
The Calgary PAL Course is a multi-sport program designed to provide beginner and intermediate level players with the opportunity to experience a variety of sports. The program is offered year round each September through June. The Calgarian PAL Course includes 10 weeks of sport instruction, beginner and intermediate activities, games and tournaments. Each session is geared for each age group, so that children and adults of all ages can participate. The curriculum at each session is designed to help develop skills, learn the fundamentals of each sport and have fun. Instruction ranges from Beginner to Intermediate / Advanced levels. Beginner classes teach the basic concepts of each sport, such as rules, regulations, etiquette, and basic technique. Intermediate and advanced classes focus on individual skills and drill development and extended playing time with more challenging opponents or scenarios. When signing up for the course, participants must first register to complete the Calgary PAL's CoastKids program. Participants must attend seven classes and complete one activity before they move on to the Calgary PAL course. The cost of the program covers both registration fees and equipment. The Calgary PAL course offers great benefits not only to beginner and intermediate participants but also to experienced players looking to further cultivate their skills. The instructors provide personalized coaching and guidance to each participant to ensure they’re learning and becoming a more powerful and confident athlete. Through the consistent and persistent practices, each player will be prepared to take their sport and play to the next level. With ten weeks of sport instruction, every participant will learn, grow, and have fun with each practice.
